Is Windows Vista Less Secure than Windows 2000?

Recent pulblication of article Windows Vista is less secure then windows 2000, has really start the war of word and researches. However there is certainly a way around such as define by Michael Kleef in his blog here http://apcmag.com/vista_less_secure_than_2000_researchers.htm, His point has a valid weight, however, microsoft still cannot blame it on Users only?

Also, since Windows 2000 is a server operating and Windows Vista is Desktop, do we really need to worry about those facts? as in report they said Vista is 37% more safe than Windows XP. A desktop is compared with Desktop PC in that. So considering all those facts, I thought Vista is better equipped and is secure. What you think?
